Happy Anniversary

Today marks the 25th anniversary of the first commercial cell phone call. On October 13th, 1983,Bob Barnett used the Motorola DynaTAC 8000X to call the grandson of Alexander Grahm Bell. Do you remember a time when you were living without a cell phone? I do, I got my first cell phone when I was 19 years old. Living at home, I never needed one because my parents had a land line. Since then, I have moved around a lot, and have found that a cell phone was actually cheaper than installing a land line every time I moved.

Ever wonder how our life would be without cell phones? I remember my dad always lecturing me when I wanted a cell phone. He would say "You had managed just fine before you had one, and you'll manage just fine after."

Well, I can't imagine my life without one. Happy Anniversary!
